jedinica vojske Bundeswehra s dugotrajnim zapovjedništvom u Lippstadtu i
Unni, posljednje u Düsseldorfu. Do svog raspuštanja 2006. godine
Mnogi vojni inspektori
bili su bivši divizijski zapovjednici 7. oklopne divizije. Divizija je
postojala od 01. 08. 1958. do 30. 06. 2006. godine. |

The 7th Panzer Division (also: Westphalian Panzer Division) was a large
unit of the army of the Bundeswehr with long-term headquarters in
Lippstadt and Unna, most recently in Düsseldorf. Until its dissolution
in 2006, it was considered the "Backbone of the German Army" or
"Spearhead of the German Army". Most weapon systems found their troop
introduction here. Many army inspectors were former divisional
commanders of the 7th Panzer Division.
Division existed
from
1. August 1958 to 30. June 2006. |

pokrajine Westfalen i taj motiv i danas nosi 21. oklopna brigada.

The 19th Mechanized Brigade "Münsterland" with its command in Ahlen was
a brigade that spent most of its existence as part of the 7th Armored
Division. The brigade was stationed in Münsterland and was disbanded in
the eighth month of 2002. Like other brigades from this division, it had
a sign in the form of a Gothic shield with a silver horse on a red
field. The difference was in the color of the border, in their case
white, as a sign for the first brigade in the division. The horse and
the red field are symbols of the province of Westfalen and this motif is
still worn by the 21st Armored Brigade today. From 1994 to 1996, the
brigade was part of the 1st Armored Division, then it was returned to
the 7th Armored Division, where it was disbanded in the eighth month of
2002. |

oklopna brigada, „Märkisches Sauerland“ stacionirana u Hemeru (kasnije u

The 20th Armored Brigade, "Märkisches Sauerland" stationed in Hemer
(later in Iserholn) was from 1964 a brigade in the 7th Armored Division.
The brigade was disbanded on March 19, 1992. From March 1970 to April
1975, the brigade operated as Armored Regiment 100 and was subordinated
directly to the First Corps. For the mark, they used a red Gothic shield
on which a silver stallion (Westphalian horse) was depicted. And this
sign differs from its divisional insignia only in the color of the
border, which is red, which means that it is the second brigade in the
division. From the 19th to the 21st, the sign is the same, only the
color of the border is different. Before it became a brigade, it was an
armored regiment and was subordinate to the First Corps. |

mehanizirana brigada (11. oklopne divizije) je imala sjedište (štab) u
donjosaksonskom Oldenburgu.
dijelu vide tri uzburkana vala i iznad njih dva zlatna (žuta) križa.
A bijeli obrub
opet naslijedila 1. zračno-desantnu diviziju). |

As with the 14th Panzergrenadier Division, the design of the unit
insignia of the 13th Panzergrenadier Division, which was newly formed
after reunification, does not tie in with the design of the strict unit
insignia in the Army before 1989. The choice of motif for all badges in
the division area is inconsistent. The edge of all brigade insignia is
now designed as a silver cord interwoven with black. One reason may be
the formation as homeland security brigades, which in their heraldic
representation was not based on the old systematic of the field army;
however, no green border was chosen, as was the case with the unit
insignia of the "old" homeland security brigades. In the foreground when
choosing a motif is the connection to the heraldic tradition of the
stationing area. |
Troops of the division also supported civilian agencies on several
occasions during large disasters, such as disastrous floods in Eastern
Germany in 1997. In 13th Division are 2nd Army Band; 61th Signals
Battalion; 37th Mechanized Infantry Brigade „Free State of Saxony“ and
41st Mechanized Infantry Brigade „Western Pomerania“. |
