Time je divizija ključni nositelj desantnih operacija Kopnene vojske i operacija aeromobilnih i avio-mehaniziranih snaga.

The Rapid Forces Division (DSK) with a target strength of 9,500 German and 2,300 Dutch members is a division of the army of the Bundeswehr with headquarters in the Herrenwald barracks and subordinate units in the federal states of Lower Saxony, Hesse, Rhineland-Palatinate, Saarland and Baden -Wuerttemberg.

The division, which was set up at the beginning of 2014 by reorganizing the Special Operations Division and incorporating parts of the Airmobile Operations Division, bundles almost all airborne forces, army aviation and special forces of the army. This makes the division a key carrier of landing operations by the army and operations by airmobile and air-mechanized forces. Due to the integrated special and specialized forces, the division is particularly qualified for special missions that do not correspond to the classic high-intensity fight against militarily organized forces. Parts of the division were temporarily classified as Bundeswehr intervention forces. The subordinate large association best known to the public is the Special Forces Command.
