The Ministry of Defence Police (MDP) is a civilian police force which is
part of the United Kingdom's Ministry of Defence. The MDP are not
Military Police and should not be confused with the Royal Military
Police or any other Service police organisation. The MDP has an
established strength of 2,700 police officers, based at numerous defence
locations across the United Kingdom. The MDP's primary responsibilities
are to provide armed security and to counter terrorism, as well as
uniformed policing and investigative services to Ministry of Defence
property, personnel, and installations throughout the United Kingdom.
The force also provides officers for international policing secondments;
including the active policing of conflict areas overseas and training of
resident police forces in these areas. These overseas missions are
carried out under the mandates of the UN, NATO, or the Foreign and
Commonwealth Office. |

STATES of JERSEY POLICE
POLICIJA |

Otok
Jersey samoupravno je područje britanske krune. Tehnički nije dio
Ujedinjenog Kraljevstva, ali je dio Britanskog otočja. Kralja na otoku
predstavlja zamjenik guvernera.
No, nadležno Parohijalno počasno redarstvo i dalje ima primat u
donošenju kaznenih prijava prekršiteljima. Trenutna snaga policije

The Island of Jersey is a self governing British Crown Dependency. It is
not technically a part of the United Kingdom, but is part of the British
Isles. The King is represented on the island by a Lieutenant Governor.
The States of Jersey Police has its origins dating back to 1853, when a
small group of uniformed men were appointed to police the Parish and
town of St. Helier. They were known as the "St. Helier Paid Police".
The policing of the remainder of the island was the responsibility of
the Honorary Parish Police in each of the remaining eleven parishes.
|
|
The uniformed police remained under the control of the Parish of St.
Helier until 1952. The strength at that time was 64 men and the title of
the force was changed to "States of Jersey Police". They now provide a
policing service to the whole island. However, the relevant Parish
Honorary Police still have primacy in respect of the decision to charge
offenders. The current strength of the States of Jersey Police is 214
officers plus 121 civilian staff. |

|
|
Krajem 2022. bilo je 8 263 PCSO-a u Engleskoj i Walesu. Broj PCSO je,
kao i broj policijskih policajaca, padao prethodnih godina zbog štednje.
PCSO-i
predstavljaju 6,8% ukupnih policijskih zaposlenika u Engleskoj i Walesu.
Metropolitanska policija ima najveći kontingent PCSO-a, čineći četvrtinu
PCSO-a u Engleskoj i Walesu.
|
As of September 2022, there were 8,263 PCSOs in England and Wales.[5]
PCSO numbers had, like those of police constables, been falling in
previous years owing to austerity. At their prior peak in 2009, 16,814
PCSOs were employed. PCSOs represent 6.8% of total police employees in
England and Wales. The Metropolitan Police has the highest contingent of
PCSOs, accounting for a quarter of PCSOs in England and Wales. The
service with the second largest contingent as of 2012 was Greater
Manchester Police (GMP) with 837 PCSOs, which was 5% of the total. |

RANK STRUCTURE
STRUKTURA ČINOVA |
| |
|
Policijski službenici za podršku zajednici obično nemaju sustav
rangiranja; međutim, policija Južnog Yorkshirea i Kenta zapošljava PCSO
nadzornike. Epolete Južnog Yorkshira imaju 'traku' iznad natpisa
"Policajac, službenik za podršku zajednici, nadzornik - promet" s brojem
na ramenu ispod. PCSO nadzornici nadziru samo PCSO i obično su podređeni
policijskom naredniku. |
| |
|
|
 |
 |
 |
| |
|
|
|
PCSOs do not normally have a rank system; however, South Yorkshire and
Kent Police employ PCSO supervisors. The South Yorkshire epaulettes have
a 'bar' above the wording "Police Community Support Officer Supervisor -
Traffic" with the shoulder number beneath. PCSO supervisors only
supervise PCSOs and normally work under a police sergeant. |
