SCOTLAND POLICE

      Policijska služba Škotske (Seirbheis Phoilis na h-Alba, The Police Service of Scotland ili skraćeno Police Scotland) je nacionalna policija Škotske. Formirana je 2013. godine ujedinjenjem osam regionalnih policija Škotske sa specijalnim službama, uključujući Škotsku kriminalističku i agenciju za droge. Policijska služba Škotske je druga po brojnosti u Ujedinjenom Kraljevstvu (poslije Metropolitan policije), a najveća po veličini teritorije pod svojom jurisdikcijom.

      The Police Service of Scotland (Seirbheis Phoilis na h-Alba, operationally shortened to Police Scotland) is the national police force of Scotland. It was formed in 2013 with the merger of eight regional police forces in Scotland, as well as the specialist services of the Scottish Police Service Authority, including the Scottish Crime and Drug Enforcement Agency. Police Scotland is the second-largest police force in the United Kingdom (after the Metropolitan Police Service) in terms of officer numbers, and the largest territorial police force in terms of its area of jurisdiction.

SPECIAL CONSTABLES  SPECIJALNI POLICAJCI

      Specijalni policajci su neplaćeni volonteri koji imaju iste policijske ovlasti kao i njihovi kolege s punim radnim vremenom kada su na dužnosti ili izvan nje. Na dužnosti moraju provesti najmanje 96 sati godišnje. Iako nisu plaćeni, "Program dodjele priznanja", preuređen 2016., dodjeljuje isplatu od £1100 posebnim policajcima koji ostvare 180 sati službe u razdoblju od 12 mjeseci i imaju najmanje dvije godine prethodne policijske službe.

      Specijalni policajci prolaze standardizirani sveobuhvatni program obuke koji se obično odvija tokom tečaja od najmanje osam vikenda s jednim punim provedenim na Škotskoj policijskoj školi u Tulliallanu.       Special constables are unpaid volunteers who have the same police powers as their full-time counterparts when on or off duty. They must spend a minimum of 96 hours per year on duty. Although they are unpaid a "Recognition Award Scheme", remodelled in 2016, awards a payment of £1,100 to Special constables who achieve 180 hours service in a 12-month period and have at least two years previous police service.

      Special constables undertake a standardised comprehensive training program which normally runs over a course of at least eight weekends with one full week spent at Scottish Police College in Tulliallan. When on duty, they wear the exact same uniform as their regular counterparts. There are no differences in their uniform and they are visually indistinguishable from their regular colleagues.

GRAMPIAN POLICE  POLICIJA GRAMPIAN-a

      Policija Grampiana bila je, između 1975. i 2013. teritorijalna policijska snaga sjeveroistočne regije Škotske, pokrivajući područja vijeća Aberdeenshirea, grada Aberdeena i Moraya (bivša regija Grampian).       Grampian Police was, between 1975 and 2013 (replaced by Police Scotland), the territorial police force of the northeast region of Scotland, covering the council areas of Aberdeenshire, the City of Aberdeen, and Moray (the former Grampian region). The Force area also covered some of the North Sea, giving Grampian Police the responsibility of policing the oil and gas platforms of the North East. The force was headquartered in Aberdeen.

LOTHIAN & BORDERS POLICE  POLICIJA LOTHIAN-a I GRANICA

     Lothian and Borders Police bile su teritorijalne policijske snage za područja škotskog vijeća grada Edinburgha, East Lothian, Midlothian, Scottish Borders i West Lothian između 1975. i 2013. Sjedište policije bilo je u Fettes Avenue, Edinburgh. Lothian and Borders Police osnovana je 16. 05. 1975. spajanjem policije Berwicka, Roxburgha i Selkirka, policije grada Edinburgha i policije Lothiansa i Peeblesa.

      Lothian and Borders Police was the territorial police force for the Scottish council areas of the City of Edinburgh, East Lothian, Midlothian, Scottish Borders and West Lothian between 1975 and 2013. The force's headquarters were in Fettes Avenue, Edinburgh. Lothian and Borders Police was formed on 16 May 1975 by an amalgamation of Berwick, Roxburgh and Selkirk Constabulary, Edinburgh City Police and The Lothians and Peebles Constabulary.

STRATHCLYDE POLICE  POLICIJA STRATHCLYDE-a

      Policija Strathclydea bila je teritorijalna policijska snaga odgovorna za područja škotskog vijeća Argyll i Bute, Grad Glasgow, East Ayrshire, East Dunbartonshire, East Renfrewshire, Inverclyde, North Ayrshire, North Lanarkshire, Renfrewshire, South Ayrshire, South Lanarkshire i West Dunbartonshire ( Bivša regija lokalne uprave Strathclyde) između 1975. i 2013. Policijska uprava sadržavala je članove iz svake od tih uprava. Policija Strathclydea imala je najveći broj osoblja i opsluživala je najveću populaciju i drugo najveće područje od osam bivših škotskih policijskih snaga, nakon Sjeverne policije.

      Strathclyde Police was the territorial police force responsible for the Scottish council areas of Argyll and Bute, City of Glasgow, East Ayrshire, East Dunbartonshire, East Renfrewshire, Inverclyde, North Ayrshire, North Lanarkshire, Renfrewshire, South Ayrshire, South Lanarkshire and West Dunbartonshire (The former Strathclyde local government region) between 1975 and 2013. The Police Authority contained members from each of these authorities. Strathclyde Police had the largest numbers of staff and served the largest population and the second largest area of the eight former Scottish police forces, after the Northern Constabulary.
