      Engleska i Wales (velški: Cymru a Lloegr) jedne su od tri pravne jurisdikcije Ujedinjenog Kraljevstva. Pokriva konstitutivne zemlje Englesku i Wales i formirana je Zakonima Walesa iz 1535. i 1542. godine. Materijalno pravo jurisdikcije je englesko pravo. Bilo je više poziva od strane velških akademika i političara za zasebnim velškim pravosudnim sustavom. Heddu je riječ na velškom jeziku za policiju od hedd ("mir") +‎ llu ("domaćin, sila"). Wales opslužuju četiri policijske snage, Policija Dyfed–Powys, Policija Gwent, Policija Sjevernog Walesa i Policija Južnog Walesa.

      England and Wales (Welsh: Cymru a Lloegr) is one of the three legal jurisdictions of the United Kingdom. It covers the constituent countries England and Wales and was formed by the Laws in Wales Acts 1535 and 1542. The substantive law of the jurisdiction is English law. There have been multiple calls from both Welsh academics and politicians for a separate Welsh justice system. Heddlu is the Welsh-language word for police, from hedd (“peace”) +‎ llu (“host, force”). Wales is served by four police forces, Dyfed–Powys Police, Gwent Police, North Wales Police and South Wales Police.

      Gwent policija (Heddlu Gwent) odgovorna je za nadzor lokalnih vlasti u područjima Blaenau Gwent, Caerphilly, Monmouthshire, Newport i Torfaen. Snage su formirane 1967. spajanjem policije Monmouthshirea i policije Newport Borougha. Godine 1974. njegovo je područje preraspoređeno kako bi pokrilo novi administrativni okrug Gwent, a 1996. ponovno je prošireno kako bi pokrilo područje bivšeg okruga Rhymney Valley koje je postalo dijelom okruga Caerphilly.       Gwent Police (Heddlu Gwent) is responsible for policing the local authority areas of Blaenau Gwent, Caerphilly, Monmouthshire, Newport and Torfaen. The force was formed in 1967 by the amalgamation of Monmouthshire Constabulary and Newport Borough Police. In 1974 its area was realigned to cover the new administrative county of Gwent, and in 1996, it was expanded again to cover the former Rhymney Valley district area that had become part of the Caerphilly county borough. As of March 2020, the force has 1,308 police officers, 70 special constables, 115 police community support officers (PCSO), 40 police support volunteers (PSV), and 647 staff.

      Policija Južnog Walesa (velški: Heddlu De Cymru; SWP) je osnovana kao policija Južnog Walesa 1. 6. 1969. spajanjem bivše policije grada Glamorgana, policije grada Cardiffa, policije općine Swansea i policije općine Merthyr Tydfil. Godine 1974., s reorganizacijom lokalne uprave, područje snaga je prošireno na novostvorene okruge.       South Wales Police (Welsh: Heddlu De Cymru; SWP) is one of the four territorial police forces in Wales. The force was formed as South Wales Constabulary on 1 June 1969, by the amalgamation of the former Glamorgan Constabulary, Cardiff City Police, Swansea Borough Police and Merthyr Tydfil Borough Police. In 1974, with the reorganisation of local government, the force's area was expanded to cover the newly created counties. Today, the force serves the principal areas of Bridgend, Cardiff, Merthyr Tydfil, Neath Port Talbot, Rhondda Cynon Taf, Swansea and the Vale of Glamorgan – most of the historic county of Glamorgan. South Wales Police covers an area of 803 square miles (2,080 km²) and population of 1.34 million people. As of September 2020, the force has 3,119 police officers, 152 special constables, 366 police community support officers (PCSO), 265 police support volunteers (PSV), and 2,167 staff.

      Policija Dyfeda–Powysa nadzire Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion i Pembrokeshire (bivše administrativno područje Dyfeda) i jedinstvenu upravu Powysa.       Dyfed–Powys Police is policing Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire (the former administrative area of Dyfed) and the unitary authority of Powys. The force was formed in 1968, with the merger of the Carmarthenshire and Cardiganshire Constabulary, the Pembrokeshire Constabulary and the Mid Wales Constabulary. The Dyfed–Powys region covers an area of 3,360 square miles (8,700 km2), with over 350 miles (560 km) of coastline. It includes many remote rural communities and a number of old industrial areas that are currently undergoing significant change and redevelopment. The population is under 500,000, although it is boosted each year with many tourist visitors. As of March 2020, the force had 1,145 police officers, 87 special constables, 143 police community support officers (PCSO), 55 police support volunteers (PSV), and 674 staff.

      Policija Sjevernog Walesa je odgovorna za rad policije u Sjevernom Walesu. Sjedište joj je u Colwyn Bayu. Od 2020. snage imaju 1510 policajaca, 170 specijalnih policajaca, 182 policijska službenika za podršku zajednici (PCSO), 71 policijskog volontera za podršku (PSV) i 984 civilnih službenika.       North Wales Police is the territorial police force responsible for policing North Wales. Its headquarters are in Colwyn Bay. As of March 2020, the force has 1,510 police officers, 170 special constables, 182 police community support officers (PCSO), 71 police support volunteers (PSV), and 984 staff. Gwynedd Constabulary was formed in 1950 by the amalgamation of Caernarvonshire Constabulary, Anglesey Constabulary, and Merionethshire Constabulary. North Wales Police is one of only three forces in England and Wales (the others being neighbouring Dyfed-Powys Police and the British Transport Police) to equip their police community support officers with handcuffs, which remains controversial. As of 31 March 2011, North Wales Police had 159 PCSOs.
