      Kopnene snage Slovačke Republike (Pozemné sily Slovenskej republiky) osnovane su 01. 07. 2002. transformacijom Kopnene vojske. Oni su među temeljnim sastavnicama Oružanih snaga Slovačke Republike. Zadatak kopnenih snaga je osigurati obranu suvereniteta i teritorijalne cjelovitosti Slovačke Republike, osigurati ili sudjelovati u pružanju zaštite i obrane političkih i gospodarskih središta, prostorija i objekata u slučaju vojnih i nevojne ugroze države, osigurati zadaće zaštite stanovništva, osigurati otklanjanje posljedica izvanrednih događaja, osigurati mjere u okviru spašavanja i traganja. akcije, kako bi se osigurala sposobnost djelovanja u okviru Slovačke Republike, integrirati snage i sredstva u NRF, BG i inozemne operacije.

      The Ground Forces of the Slovak Republic were established on July 1, 2002 by the transformation of the Ground army. They are among the basic components of the Armed Forces of the Slovak Republic. The task of the ground forces is to ensure the defense of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Slovak Republic, to ensure or participate in the provision of protection and defense of political and economic centers, premises and objects in the case of military and non-military threats to the state, to provide tasks related to the protection of the population, to ensure the liquidation of the consequences of extraordinary events, to provide measures within the framework of rescue and search actions, to ensure the ability to operate within the framework of the Slovak Republic to integrate forces and resources into the NRF, BG and foreign operations.

     

      Slovačke kopnene snage (Pozemné sily Slovenskej republiky), poznate i kao Slovačka vojska, kopnena su komponenta slovačkih Oružanih snaga. Sastoje se od 1. mehanizirane brigade, 2. mehanizirane brigade, 5. Artiljerijskog puka, 65. Izvidničkog bataljona, 71. Komandnog bataljona podrške, 103. bataljona za nuklearnu, biološku i kemijsku obranu i još nekih jedinica za podršku.

      The Slovak Ground Forces (Pozemné sily Slovenskej republiky), also known as the Slovak Army, are the land component of the Slovak Armed Forces. They consist from 1st Mechanize Brigade, 2nd Mechanize Brigade, 5th Artillery Regiment, 65th Reconnaissance Battalion, 71st Command Support Battalion, 103rd Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Defense Battalion and some other support units.

      1. mehanizirana brigada generala Jána Goliana (1. mechanizovaná brigáda) podređena je komponenta Kopnenih snaga Slovačke Republike. Štab 1. mehanizirane brigade nalazi se u Topoľčanyju. Glavni zadatak 1. mehanizirane brigade je "sudjelovanje u zadaćama obrane i zaštite vitalnih interesa Slovačke Republike i njezinih saveznika od vojnih i nevojnih prijetnji provođenjem vojnih i nevojnih operacija".

      1. mehanizirana brigada sastoji se od štaba sa pratećim jedinicama (pet različitih četa), 103. Komandne čete za potdršku, 11., 12. i 13. mehaniziranog bataljona, 14. logističkog bataljona te sanitetskog bataljona.

      The 1st Mechanized Brigade of general Ján Golian (1. mechanizovaná brigáda) is a subordinate component of the Ground Forces of the Slovak Republic. The headquarters of the 1st Mechanized Brigade is located in Topoľčany. The main task of the 1st Mechanized Brigade is to "participate in the tasks of defense and protection of vital interests of Slovak republic and its allies against military and non-military threats by conducting military and non-military operations."

      1st Mechanized Brigade consists from Headquarter with supporting units (five companies), 103rd Command Support Company, 11th, 12th and 13th Mechanized Battalion, 14th Logistic Battalion and Battalion Aid Station.

      Oznaka ima oblik gotičkog štita sa zlatnim (žutim) rubom. Na zelenoj površini amblema prikazan je srebrni (bijeli) konj u galopu koji predstavlja plemenitu, brzu životinju a ujedno je i dio grba grada Martina u kojem je jedinica nastala i tamo još uvijek djeluje. Konjičke jedinice bile su preteča snaga za brzo i trenutno djelovanje. U glavi znaka na zelenoj plohi srebrnom (bijelom) bojom ispisan je naziv formacije prOR i mjesto njegove dislokacije MARTIN.

      The coat of arms has the shape of a Gothic shield with a golden (yellow) border. On the green area of ​​the emblem is shown a silver (white) galloping horse that represents a noble, swift animal and is also part of the coat of arms of the city of Martin, in which the unit was created and still operates there. Cavalry units were the forerunners of rapid and immediate deployment forces. In the head of the sign on the green surface, the name of the formation is placed in silver (white) color prOR and place of its dislocation MARTIN.

      2. mehanizirana brigada generala Rudolfa Viesta podređena je komponenta kopnenih snaga Slovačke Republike. Komanda 2. mehanizirane brigade nalazi se u Prešovu. Glavni zadatak 2. mehanizirane brigade je "sudjelovanje u zadacima obrane i zaštite vitalnih interesa Slovačke Republike i njezinih saveznika od vojnih i nevojnih prijetnji provođenjem vojnih i nevojnih operacija. S obzirom na organizacijsku strukturu i naoružanja, 2. mehanizirana brigada je dizajnirana da ispuni cijeli spektar operacija protiv lako oklopljenih neprijateljskih jedinica u visokom borbenom ritmu."

      Ova brigada se sastoji od Stožera s izravno podređenim jedinicama, 21. mješovitog mehaniziranog bataljona, 22. mehaniziranog bataljona, Samohodnog artiljerijskog odreda, Bataljona logističke podrške te CIMIC i PSYOPS jedinica.

      The 2nd Mechanized Brigade of general Rudolf Viest is a subordinate component of the Ground Forces of the Slovak Republic. The headquarters of the 2nd Mechanized Brigade is located in Prešov. The main task of the 2nd Mechanized Brigade is to "participate in the tasks of defense and protection of vital interests of Slovak republic and its allies against military and non-military threats by conducting military and non-military operations. With regard to organizational structure and armament, the 2nd Mechanized Brigade is designed to fulfill full spectrum operations against lightly armored enemy units in high battle rhythm."

      This Brigade consist from HQ with directly subordinate units, 21st Mixed Mechanized Battalion, 22nd Mechanized Battalion, Self-propelled artillery section, Logistics support Battalion and  CIMIC and PSYOPS unit.

      01. 10. 1995. godine, reorganizacijom iz 63. Streljačkog puka nastaje 22. mehanizirana brigada.  01. 10. 2000. godine brigade preformiranjem postaje Mehanizirani bataljon Mihalovce. Početkom 2004. godine, nakon reorganizacijskih promjena u Slovačkim oružanim snagama, bataljon Mihalovce dobija nova borbena vozila BVP-1. Od 01. 10. 2006. Nosi naziv 22. Mehanizirani bataljon Mihalovce, sa počasnim nazivom Mechanizovaný prápor generála Mikuláša Markusa.

      On October 1, 1995, the 22nd Mechanized Brigade was created through the reorganization of the 63rd Rifle Regiment.  On October 1, 2000, the brigade became the Mihalovce Mechanized Battalion by reformation. At the beginning of 2004, after reorganization changes in the Slovak Armed Forces, the Mihalovce battalion received new BVP-1 combat vehicles. Since October 1, 2006, it has been called the 22nd Mechanized Battalion of Mihalovce, with the honorary title of Mechanizování prápor of General Mikuláš Markus.

     
   
     

      Oznaka je u obliku ranogotičkog štita sa zelenim poljem (boja kopnene vojske). Osnovna kompozicija boja su zelena i bijela. U gornjem dijelu štita nalazi se naziv jedinice 22. mpr i MIHALOVCE mjesto razmještaja postrojbe. U središtu su dvije ukrštene puške srebrne (bijele) boje karakteristične za pješadiju, što izražava bit mehanizirane vojske. U donjem dijelu štita nalazi se zlatna kraljevska kruna, dio grba grada Michalovce.

      The coat of arms is in the shape of an early Gothic shield with a green field (the color belonging to the ground forces). The basic color composition is green and white. In the upper part of the shield is the name of the unit, 22. mpr, and MIHALOVCE, the place of unit’s deployment. In the center are two silver (white) colored crossed rifles characteristic for the infantry, which expresses the essence of the mechanized army. A golden royal crown, part of the coat of arms of the city of Michalovce is placed in the lower part of the shield.

      Grb iz 2008. godine ima oblik gotičkog štita s crnim rubom. Na zelenoj površini se nalazi zlatni (žuti) medvjed u srebrnom (bijelom) obrubu. U glavi štita na zelenoj površini je naziv vojne jedinice ispisan srebrnim (bijelim) velikim slovima RAKETOMETNÝ ODDIEL. Oznake iz moje kolekcije su verzije sa prikazanim crnim medvjedom sa zlatnim i srebrenim rubom.

      The coat of arms, from 2008, has the shape of a Gothic shield with a black border. It is located on a green area golden (yellow) bear in silver (white) armor. In the head of the shield on the green area is the name of the military unit in silver (white) capital letters RAKETOMETNÝ ODDIEL. Patches from my collection are versions with depicted black bear with golden or silver border.
