Prva
svoja stara radna mjesta.

The first Slovenian government was established already on May 5, 1945 in
Ajdovščina, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs was formed headed by
Zoran Polič. The People's Government has invited all civil servants to
report to their old workplaces. Those who did not sin against the
national liberation struggle kept their jobs. According to the archives,
it can be seen that about a third of those who worked in the security
services of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia were accepted. Those who did not
pass the test were either fired or retired. There was also a
reorganization of the Ministry, which then had three subdivisions:
general, personal and public security department (general, personal and
public security department). The Department of Public Security was
composed of: the People's Militia Department, the Criminal Department,
the Speculation Prevention Department, and the Fire Department. |

SLEEVE INSIGNIAS
OZNAKE ZA RUKAVE |
| |
|
grba i nad njima u lenti natpis MILICA.

In 1974, by decision of the Republic Secretariat for Internal Affairs,
the militia insignia began to be worn on the left sleeve. The sign
itself was in the form of a shield, on which parts of the Slovenian coat
of arms were shown in five colors and above them in a ribbon the
inscription MILICA. Slovenia was the only republic that introduced
special markings, which caused opposition among some, but all attempts
to abolish the marking remained unsuccessful. |

HELICOPTER UNIT
HELIKOPTERSKA JEDINICA |
| |
|
djelovanja helikoptera JNA. Prvo je 1967. slovenska milicija počela
koristiti helikopter model Agusta Bell AB 47/J-2A kojem daju nadimak „Burduš“.
helikoptera Jet
Ranger. Godine 1978. floti se pridružio dvomotorni model A-109 Hirundo,
namijenjen prvenstveno transportu tadašnjeg republičkog političkog vrha,
a 1986. Prenamijenjen je u medicinski helikopter. Postao je pravo leteće
vozilo hitne pomoći sa svom potrebnom medicinskom opremom. |
|
1980.jedinica prelazi u nove, moderne hangare na aerodromu Brnik, a do
tada nije imala svoje posebne prostore. Iste godine nabavljen je AB-212,
višenamjenski helikopter puno boljih mogućnosti, a 1987. god. sličan,
moderniji AB-412.
kontrolu plinovoda itd. |

In the mid-1960s, the then Militia administration began to study the
possibilities of establishing a helicopter unit that would support the
implementation of police tasks from the air. The idea arose during the
celebration of the 20th anniversary of the WWII, when the actions of JNA
helicopters were shown. First, in 1967, the Slovenian Militia began to
use the Agusta Bell AB 47/J-2A helicopter, nicknamed "Burduš". The first
pilot was Andrej Andolšek and the first mechanic was Emil Stepančič, who
were transferring from military aviation. In 1972 and 1974, two Jet
Ranger helicopters were purchased. In 1978, the twin-engine model A-109
Hirundo joined the fleet, intended primarily for the transport of the
then republican political leadership, and in 1986 it was converted into
a medical helicopter. It became a real flying ambulance with all the
necessary medical equipment. |
|
In 1980, the unit moved to new, modern hangars at the Brnik airport, and
until then it did not have its own special premises. In the same year,
the AB-212, a multipurpose helicopter with much better capabilities, was
acquired, and in 1987, similar, more modern AB-412. Both become the
unit's driving force, and the AB-212 was especially helpful in earning
money to cover the unit's operating costs, as it carried out many cargo
transports in the mountains and other difficult-to-access terrain. The
purchase of AB-412 was also special in that several large companies
collected the money for it, and in return they could use it for their
own needs, e.g. transportation, gas pipeline control, etc. |
