1969. - 1977.

      Baklja upotrebljavana na oznakama funkcija pomoćnika komandira stanice, zamjenika komandira (od 1969. godine), komandira stanice i višeg inspektora u periodu od 1967. do 1977. godine. Visina baklje je 25 milimetara.

      Torch used on rank insignias for functions of assistant police station commander, deputy police station commander, station commander and higher inspectors in period from 1967 till 1977 year. Torch is 25 millimeters high.

1977. - 01. 08. 1991.

      Petokraka zvjezdica promjera 15 milimetara za oznake zvanja na naramenicama (epoletama) propisane 06. 12. 1977. godine. U Republici Hrvatskoj su korištene do 01. 08. 1991. godine.

      Five-pointed star with a diameter of 15 millimeters for rank insignia on shoulder straps (epaulettes) prescribed on December 6, 1977. They were used in the Republic of Croatia until August 1, 1991.

RANKS 1967 - 1978.  ČINOVI OD 1967.- 1978.

      Oznake zvanja nose se na naramenicama koje su "olovno-plave" boje, iste kao uniforme. Naramenice su prilagođene za skidanje, a širina kod rukava im je bila 60 mm, a kod unutarnjeg dijela okovratnika 45 mm, gdje su se zakopčavale patiniranim dugmetom promjera 14 milimetara.

      Rank insignia are worn on shoulder straps that are "lead blue" in color, the same as uniforms. The shoulder straps were adapted for removal, and the width at the sleeves was 60 mm, and at the inner part of the collar 45 mm, where they were fastened with a patinated button with a diameter of 14 millimeters.

      Pripravnička oznaka za mlađeg milicionara je traka srebrnasto-bijele boje širine 10 milimetara u obliku pravog kuta ušivena u naramenicu; kraci kuta su okrenuti prema vanjskim rubovima naramenica, a razmak između vrha kraka i vanjskog ruba naramenica je 25 milimetara. 

      The trainee insignia for a junior militiaman is a silvery-white strip 10 millimeters wide in the shape of a right angle sewn into the shoulder strap; the arms of the angle are facing the outer edges of the straps, and the distance between the top of the arm and the outer edge of the straps is 25 millimeters. 

YOUNGER POLICE OFFICER   MLAĐI MILICIONAR

      Oznaka za mlađeg milicionara je traka zlatne boje širine 10 milimetara u obliku pravog kuta ušivena u naramenicu; kraci kuta su okrenuti prema vanjskim rubovima naramenica, a razmak između vrha kraka i vanjskog ruba naramenica je 25 milimetara.  Ovo je naramenica sa ljetne košulje.

      The insignia for a junior militiaman is a 10-millimeter-wide gold-colored strip in the shape of a right angle sewn into the shoulder strap; the arms of the angle are facing the outer edges of the straps, and the distance between the top of the arm and the outer edge of the straps is 25 millimeters.

      Oznaka za milicionara su dvije trake zlatne boje širine 10 milimetara u obliku pravog kuta ušivene u naramenicu; krakovi kuta su okrenuti prema vanjskim rubovima naramenica, a razmak između traka (širita) je 5 milimetara.

      Oznaka za milicionara prve klase su tri trake zlatne boje širine 10 milimetara u obliku pravog kuta ušivene u naramenicu; krakovi kuta su okrenuti prema vanjskim rubovima naramenica, a razmak između traka (širita) je 5 milimetara. Prve su epolete sa ljetnih i zimskih bluza (tkanina), a treća sa kišne kabanice (sintetički materijal).

      The insignia for a militiaman of the first class are three gold-colored strips 10 millimeters wide in the form of a right angle sewn into the shoulder strap; the arms of the corner are turned towards the outer edges of the shoulder straps, and the distance between the strips (width) is 5 millimeters. The first are epaulettes from summer and winter blouses (fabric), and the third from a raincoat (synthetic material).

SENIOR POLICE OFFICER 1st CLASS  STARIJI MILICIONAR 1. KLASE

      Oznaka za starijeg milicionara prve klase su jedna traka zlatne boje širine 20 milimetara te dvije trake zlatne boje širine 10 milimetara u obliku pravog kuta ušivene u naramenicu; krakovi kuta su okrenuti prema vanjskim rubovima naramenica, a razmak između traka (širita) je pet milimetara. Ova je epoleta sa ljetne košulje.

      The insignia for a senior militiaman of the first class are one gold-colored strip 20 millimeters wide and two gold-colored strips 10 millimeters wide in the shape of a right angle sewn into the shoulder strap; the arms of the angle are facing the outer edges of the shoulder straps, and the distance between the strips (width) is five millimeters. This epaulet is from a summer shirt. 

YOUNGER INSPECTOR  MLAĐI INSPEKTOR

      Naramenice su tamnoplave boje, za ljetnu vjetrovku. Na njoj je paralelno ušivena vrpca žute boje širine 2 centimetra. Na sredini epolete je metalna petokraka zvijezda 10 milimetara udaljena od trake. Petokraka zvijezda je veličine 15 milimetara. Naramenica je od tkanine, dužine je 14 centimetara, a u donjem je dijelu široka 6,5 centimetara.

      The straps are dark blue, for a summer windbreaker. A yellow ribbon 2 centimeters wide is sewn parallel to it. In the middle of the epaulet is a metal five-pointed star 10 millimeters away from the strap. The five-pointed star is 15 millimeters in size. The shoulder strap is made of fabric, it is 14 centimeters long and 6.5 centimeters wide in the lower part.

      Naramenice su tamnoplave boje, za ljetnu vjetrovku. Na njoj je paralelno ušivena vrpca žute boje širine 2 centimetra. Na sredini epolete su paralelno postavljene dvije metalne petokrake zvijezda 10 mm udaljena od trake. Petokrake zvijezde su veličine 15 milimetara. Naramenica je od tkanine, dužine je 14 centimetara, a u donjem je dijelu široka 6,5 centimetara.

      Naramenice su olovnoplave boje, za bluzu. Na njoj je paralelno ušivena vrpca žute boje širine 2 centimetara. Na sredini epolete su paralelno postavljene dvije metalne petokrake zvijezda 10 mm udaljena od trake i na sredini epolete treća zvijezda udaljena od ove dvije 5 mm. Naramenica je od tkanine, dužine je 14 centimetara, a u donjem je dijelu široka 6,5 centimetara.

      The straps are lead blue, for the blouse. A yellow ribbon 2 centimeters wide is sewn parallel to it. In the middle of the epaulet, two metal five-pointed stars are placed in parallel, 10 mm away from the strap, and in the middle of the epaulette, a third star is placed 5 mm away from these two. The shoulder strap is made of fabric; it is 14 centimeters long and 6.5 centimeters wide in the lower part.

RANKS 1977. - 1986.  ČINOVI OD 1977.- 1986.

      Uredba o oznakama zvanja, oznakama funkcija i uniformi ovlaštenih službenih osoba organa unutrašnjih poslova stupila je na snagu 6. 12. 1977. Uredbom se propisuju oznake zvanja i funkcija, uniforma, dopunski dijelovi uniforme, dopunska oprema i odjeća ovlaštenih službenih osoba. Stare oznake zvanja i funkcija morale su biti zamijenjene novim oznakama u roku godine dana od dana stupanja na snagu Uredbe. Oznake zvanja nose se na naramenicama koje su "olovno-plave" boje, dakle, iste kao i odore. Naramenice su bile prilagođene za skidanje, a širina kod rukava im je bila 60 mm, a kod unutarnjeg dijela ovratnika 45 mm, gdje su se zakopčavale patiniranim dugmetom promjera 14 mm.

      Oznake za pripravnike su trake bijele boje, a za zvanja službenika zlatnožute boje. Za niža milicionarska zvanja (zaključno do milicionara I. klase) oznake su u obliku traka ("širita") pod pravim kutem širine 10 mm, a za viša milicionarska zvanja kombinacija traka širine 20 mm i 10 mm.

     Pripravnička oznaka za mlađeg milicionara je traka srebrnasto-bijele boje širine 10mm u obliku pravog kuta, a oznaka za pripravnika za mlađeg inspektora i inspektora ravna traka od 20 mm srebrnasto-bijele boje s jednom, odnosno dvjema srebrnasto-bijelim zvjezdicama petokrakama. Oznaku je imao i polaznik Srednje škole unutrašnjih poslova i to ravnu srebrnasto-bijelu traku širine 10mm na naramenici.

      Naramenice su olovnoplave boje, opšivene svjetloplavom ispuskom. Na njih su pod pravim kutom ušivene tri vrpce žute boje, širine 1 centimetar, međusobno udaljene po 5 milimetara. Naramenica je od tkanine, dužine je 14 centimetara a široka je 6,5 centimetara.

      The straps are lead blue, edged with light blue piping. Three yellow ribbons, 1 centimeter wide, 5 millimeters apart, are sewn on them at right angles. The shoulder strap is made of fabric, it is 14 centimeters long and 6.5 centimeters wide.

POLICE OFFICER 1ST CLASS     MILICIONAR 1. KLASE

      Oznaka za milicionara 1. klase sastoji se od tri trake zlatne boje širine 10 mm u obliku tupog kuta ušivenih u naramenicu, opšivenu svjetloplavom ispuskom; kraci kuta su okrenuti prema vanjskim rubovima naramenica, a razmak između vrha prvog kraka i vanjskog ruba naramenica je 25 milimetara. Međusobni razmak širita je 5 milimetara.

      The insignia for a 1st-class militiaman consists of three gold-colored strips 10 mm wide in the shape of an obtuse angle sewn into a shoulder strap, edged with light blue piping; the arms of the angle are facing the outer edges of the straps, and the distance between the top of the first arm and the outer edge of the straps is 25 millimeters. The distance between the widths is 5 millimeters.

HIGHER POLICE OFFICER   VIŠI MILICIONAR

      Naramenica sa oznakom zvanja višeg milicionara se sastojala od dvije međusobno paralelne trake (širita) zlatnožute boje širine po 16 mm koje su ušivene na naramenicu u obliku tupog kuta tako da su kraci prve udaljeni 15 milimetara, a druge 36 mm od vanjskog ruba naramenice. Na sredini epolete je metalna petokraka zvijezda 10 mm udaljena od druge trake. U upotrebi je od 31. 12. 1986. do 01. 08. 1991.; to je jedino novo zvanje u odnosu na zvanja iz perioda 1977. - 1986. godine.

      The shoulder strap with the designation of senior police officer (viši milicionar) consisted of two parallel strips (wide) of golden yellow color, each 16 mm wide, which were sewn onto the shoulder strap in the form of an obtuse angle so that the arms of the first were 15 millimeters and the second 36 mm from the outer edge of the shoulder strap. In the middle of the epaulette is a metal five-pointed star 10 mm away from the second strap. It is in use from December 31, 1986 to August 1, 1991; it is the only new title compared to the titles from the period 1977 - 1986.

RANKS 1977. - 1986.

      The Decree on the designations of titles, designations of functions and uniforms of authorized officers of internal affairs bodies entered into force on 6 December 1977. The decree prescribes the designations of titles and functions, uniforms, supplementary parts of the uniform, supplementary equipment and clothing of authorized officers. The old designations of titles and functions had to be replaced by new designations within a year from the date of entry into force of the Regulation. Rank insignia are worn on straps that are "lead-blue" in color, therefore, the same as the uniforms. The shoulder straps were adapted to be removed, and their width at the sleeves was 60 mm, and at the inner part of the collar 45 mm, where they were fastened with a patinated button with a diameter of 14 mm.

      Insignia for trainees are white ribbons, and golden yellow for official titles. For lower militia ranks (up to and including 1st class militiamen), the insignia are in the form of strips ("wide") at right angles with a width of 10 mm, and for higher militia ranks a combination of strips of 20 mm and 10 mm width.

      The trainee insignia for a junior militiaman is a 10 mm wide silvery-white strip in the shape of a right angle, and the trainee insignia for a junior inspector and inspector is a flat 20 mm silvery-white strip with one or two silvery-white five-pointed stars. A student of the High School of Internal Affairs also had the rank, a flat silvery-white strip 10 mm wide on the shoulder strap.
