Borbena djelovanja u 1992. u kojima aktivno sudjeluju združene snage
Vojne policije, pokazale su potrebu stvaranja posebne postrojbe za
brza i djelotvorna borbena djelovanja na cijelom prostoru RH-a.
Uprava Vojne policije je krajem 1992. dobila zadaću da pripremi
ustroj i formiranje takve postrojbe. Po uzoru na brigade američkih
„Rangera“ i brigade karabinjera u OS Italije izrađen je ustroj 8.
lakojurišne brigade Vojne policije. Brigada je na razini ostalih
brigada Hrvatske vojske profesionalnog sastava. Osposobljena je za
borbena djelovanja i složene vojnopolicijske zadaće. Ustroj brigade
prihvaćen je i potpisan 13. travnja 1993. |
Combat operations in 1992, in which the joint forces of the Military
Police are actively participating, have shown the need to create a
special unit for rapid and effective combat operations throughout the
Republic of Croatia. At the end of 1992, the Military Police Directorate
was given the task of preparing the structure and formation of such a
unit. Following the example of the brigades of the American "Rangers"
and the brigade of Carabinieri in the Armed Forces of Italy, the
structure of the 8th Light Assault Brigade of the Military Police was
made. The brigade is at the level of other brigades of the Croatian Army
of professional composition. Brigade was trained for combat operations
and complex military police tasks. The organization of the brigade was
accepted and signed on April 13, 1993. |
