ONTARIO PROVINCIAL POLICE  POLICIJA PROVINCIJE ONTARIO

      Provincijska policija Ontarija je najbrojnija policijska služba u provinciji Ontario, te druga u Kanadi. Zadaće ove službe su uglavnom održavanje reda i javne sigurnosti u područjima provincije gdje ne postoje lokalne policijske snage. Osim toga pružaju i podršku manjim službama svojim specijaliziranim uslugama. Vrše istrage na nivou provincije, zatim na slučajevima koji zadiru u nekoliko policijskih distrikta, patroliraju provincijskim autocestama, a zaduženi su i vodene putove unutar provincije te provođenje raznih zakona o zaštiti prirode.

      The OPP is the largest police force in Ontario and the second largest in Canada. The service is responsible for providing policing services throughout the province in areas lacking local police forces. It also provides specialized support to smaller municipal police forces, investigates province-wide and cross-jurisdictional crimes, patrols provincial highways (including Ontario's 400-Series Highways) and is responsible for many of the waterways in the province. The OPP also works with other provincial agencies, including the Ministry of Transportation and Ministry of Natural Resources to enforce highway safety and conservation regulations, respectively. Finally, OPP officers provide security at the Ontario Legislature at Queen's Park in Toronto.

      Oznaka policijske službe Toronta je ostala skoro ista kao i ona Metropolitan policije, izmijenjen je samo naziv službe. U središtu znaka se nalazi štit na kojem je na vrhu na crnoj podlozi krilati zlatni zupčanik simbol industrije;  u sredini je kruna u znak sjećanja na krunidbu Kraljice Elizabete II 1953.;dvije knjige predstavljaju znanje te rimski bog Cadeus simbol trgovine; širit kao simbol naselja i dabar su preuzeti iz grba grada Toronta.

      The components of the TPS logo is similar to the old Metro Toronto Police logo less the name change: winged wheels of industry on the top part of the shield, crown commemorating the coronation year of Queen Elizabeth II in 1953, two books for education, Cadueus - Roman god of commerce, chevron for housing and beaver from the city of Toronto logo.

      Policijska služba Toronta je odgovorna, zajedno sa ostalim policijskim snagama (RCMP i OPP) na cijeloj teritoriji Toronta (Greather Toronto Area). Ova je služba podijeljena u dvije zone sa 17 jedinica (policijskih stanica). Patroliraju i na lokalnim autocestama jer se one višeg ranga nalaze pod jurisdikcijom provincijske policie OPP. U svojem sastavu ima 5710 policajaca i oko 250 civilnih službenika.

      Today, the Toronto Police Service is responsible for overall local police service in Toronto and works with the other emergency services (Toronto EMS (TEMS) and Toronto Fire service (TFS) and other police forces in the GTA. The Toronto Police Service is divided into 2 field areas and 17 divisions (police stations or precincts). Policing on most 400-series highways are in the jurisdiction of the Ontario Provincional Police. Toronto Police is responsible for patrolling on local highways. The Toronto Police Service has approximately 5,710 uniformed officers and 2,500 civilian employees.

      Univerzitetska policijska služba je odgovorna za sigurnost preko 80.000 studenata, te osoblja i imovine. Tome treba pridodati i hiljade posjetilaca dnevno. Kako postoje i tri lokacije, tako postoje i tri policijska pravnika, koji uz pomoć narednika i kaplara zapovijedaju policijskim vodovima. Pripadnici ove službe su u rangu lokalne policije, sa ovlastima, koje im je izdao Upravni odbor Policijske službe Toronta, na osnovu odobrenja Ministarstva javne sigurnosti i pravosudnog sistema Ontarija.  Uz ostale zakone provode i Studentski kodeks ponašanja. svoje obilaske vrše u jasno obilježenim automobilima te biciklima i pješice.

      The University of Toronto Police Service is responsible for the safety of over 80,000 students, faculty and staff, in addition to the thousands of visitors to the University each day. The University of Toronto Police Service is commanded by three Police managers assigned to each campus. Staff Sergeants and Corporals supervise each platoon of Constables. University of Toronto Police Special Constables are Peace Officers sworn in through the Toronto Police Services Board, after being approved by the Ontario Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services. University Police Special Constables have similar authority as municipal Police. In addition, they can also enforce the University of Toronto Student Code of Conduct. University Police patrol in marked vehicles which are designed to be easily identifiable to the University community. Officers also patrol on foot and on bicycles.

BRANTFORD POLICE POLICIJSKA SLUŽBA BRANTFORDA

      Brantfordska policijska služba ima tradiciju dužu od 125 godina. Njeni počeci sežu još u 1877. godinu. Prema podacima iz 2006. godine Brantford je sa svojih 90 192 stanovnika imao 153 policijska službenika (sa punim radnim vremenom) što predstavlja omjer od 1 policajca na 568 stanovnika.

      The Brantford Police Service has a long and distinguished record of community service spanning more than 125 years, it's  history dates back to 1877. In 2006 Brantford population was 90,192 citizens with 153 authorized officers (full-time employees), have a ratio of 1 police officer on 568 citizens.

BELLEVILLE POLICE POLICIJA BELLEVILLE-a

      Korjeni ove službe sežu do 1836. godine kada su zakletvu položila prva dvojica pozornia. Tako je ova služba starija i od RCMP (1873), OPP-a (1909) te Plicije Kingstona (1841). Kao jedna od starijih policija pružaju usluge za nekih 47.000 stanovnika, koji se nalaze na području od 145,6  kilometara kvadratnih (gradske i seoske zone). Dužnosti su im u rasponu od reguliranja prometa, preko školskih programa do vršenja visokosofisticianih istraga. Služba podijeljena u operacijski odjel i odjel podrške broji 111 osoba, od kojih su 81 policajci, a 30 civili. Uz njih postoji još i 20 rezervnih policajaca.

      The City of Belleville Police Service dates back to 1836 when two men were sworn in as Constables. The Service is older than the RCMP (1873), the OPP (1909), and Kingston Police Service (1841). As one of the older Municipal Police Services in Canada, the Belleville Police Service provides the highest level of police service to some 47,000 citizens. The total area policed includes both an (Urban) and a large (Rural) ward for a total of 245.6 Square Kilometers, with a current population of 47,000. Present duties range from traffic enforcement and school liaison programs to highly involved criminal investigations. The present Service has a total complement of 111 persons - 81 sworn personnel and 30 civilians. The Service has an authorized strength of 20 Auxiliary Constables. The Service is divided into two Divisions, Operations and Operations Support.

HALTON REGIONAL POLICE SERVICE REGIONALNA POLICIJSKA SLUŽBA HALTON-a

      The Halton Regional Police Service provides policing service for the Halton Region that encompasses the City of Burlington and the Towns of Oakville, Milton and Halton Hills. It is made up of 610 police personnel and 250 civilians that provide policing services for a population of 480,200 in an area covering 967 square kilometers. The Chief of Police is the highest ranking officer of the Halton Regional Police Service. Halton Regional Police Service was established in tandem with the creation of the Regional Municipality of Halton on January 1, 1974. It incorporated the former police services of Burlington, Oakville, Milton and Halton Hills and first consisted of 205 officers and 45 civilians. The OPP continued to police the remainder of the Region until 1975, when the Regional Force had expanded to the point where it could assume responsibility for the entire area.

HAMILTON-WENTWORTH REGIONAL POL.  POLICIJA REGIJE HAMILTON-WENTWORTH

      Hamilton is situated on the western end of Lake Ontario.  Currently, the Hamilton Police Service provides policing services to about 528,000 residents. In 2007, was 761 police officer and 267 civilian members and responded to over 85,000 calls for service. The City of Hamilton Police Services Board is the civilian body governing the Hamilton Police Service. It is responsible for the provision of adequate and effective police services, law enforcement and crime prevention within the City, a duty it discharges through the enactment of policies. The Board will generally determine, after consultation with the Chief of Police, objectives and priorities for the police service. The Board is responsible for the police budget, oversees the actions of the Chief of Police and is the employer for the police service.

WINDSOR POLICE POLICIJA WINDSOR-a

      The mandate of the Windsor Police Services Board is to set policy and to maintain an adequate and efficient police service, working with the community, city council and the police service. The Windsor Police Services Board is a five member civilian Board that oversees the Windsor Police Service. Two Board members are appointed by the Lieutenant Governor of the Province of Ontario, two are appointed by Municipal Council (ie. the Mayor or designate and one member of Municipal Council), and one is a Municipal appointee who is neither a member of council nor an employee of the municipality.

PARIS POLICE POLICIJA PARIS-A

      Paris, mjesto smješteno na rijeci Grand River, sa oko 10000 stanovnika se nalazi u jugozapadnom dijelu Ontaria, otprilike 100 kilometara zapadno od Toronta. Nemaju više svoju policiju, već su prije desetak godina sklopili ugovor sa Policijom Provincije Ontario o vršenju policijske službe.

      The Paris Police patch is from a smaill community in south western Ontario Canada, about 100 kms. west of Toronto, called Paris. It has a population of about 10,000 and is situated on the Grand River. It no longer has it's own police force, it has contracted with the Ontario Provincial Police who took over about 10 years ago.
