POLICE CONSTABLES POLICAJCI

Pozornike i starije pozornike postavlja nadređeni određen Zakonom o policiji članom 32. 1. Imenovanje pozornika stupa na snagu danom rasporeda u policijske snage.
Constables and senior constables shall be appointed by the superior specified in Art. 32 Section 1. Appointment to constable shall be effected upon appointment to a position in the force.

NON COMMISSIONED OFFICERS PODOFICIRI

Podoficire i starije podoficire postavlja nadređeni određen Zakonom o policiji članom 32. 1. osim u slučajevima gradske policije (poviat/ mestska policja).
In the corps of non-commissioned officers and in the corps of aspirant Police officers appointments shall be made by the superior specified in Art. 32 Section 1, except for the poviat (municipal) police commander.

Postavljanje u prvi oficirski čin, (član 56.3), Glavnog šefa policije i pomoćnika šefa policije vrši Predsjednik Republike Poljske na zahtjev Ministra unutrašnjih poslova. Ostale oficirske činove imenuje Glavni policijski komandant.
Appointments to the first officer's rank, subject to Art. 56 Section 3, and to chief Police superintendent and to assistant chief Police superintendent shall be made by the President of the Republic of Poland at the request of the minister appropriate for internal affairs. Appointments to the other officer ranks shall be made by the Chief Police Commander.

Napredovanje u viši čin ovisi poziciji na kojoj se kandidat nalazi te o službenim ocjenama. Uglavnom, unapređenje u viši čin se ne može izvršiti dok policajac ne provede određeno vrijeme u službi: pozornik i stariji pozornik nakon godinu dana prodvedenih u činu, narednici nakon dvije godine provedene u činu, mlađi aspirant i aspirant 3 godine u činu, stariji aspirant 3 godine, štabni aspirant 4 godine. Pomoćnik komesara nakon 3, a komesar i glavni komesar nakon 4 godine u činu. Pomoćnik inspektora 3, a mlađi inspektor i inspektor nakon 4 godine provedene u službi.
The promotion to a higher rank shall take effect accordingly to the service position held and depending on the performance evaluation. However, the promotion to such a rank may not take effect earlier than having served in the former rank for: - constable - 1 year; - senior constable - 1 year; - sergeant - 2 years; - senior sergeant - 2 years; - staff sergeant - 2 years; - junior aspirant officer - 3 years; - aspirant officer - 3 years; - senior aspirant officer - 2 years; - staff aspirant officer - 4 years; - assistant commissioner - 3 years; - commissioner - 4 years; - chief commissioner - 4 years; - assistant inspector - 3 years; - junior inspector - 4 years; - inspector - 4 years.
