MALEZIJSKA KOPNENA
VOJSKA |
|
Malezijska Armija (Malajski:
mornarica i zrakoplovstvo. Umjesto toga čast nošenja te titule imaju
pojedini korpusi i regimente (u sastavu Kopnene vojske) dodijeljenu im
od strane Njegovog Visočanstva
Yang di-Pertuan
Agong-a,

The

the
Malaysian Armed
Forces. Steeped in British Army
traditions, the Malaysian Army does not carry the title 'Royal' as do
the
Royal Malaysian Air
Force and the
Royal Malaysian Navy.
Instead. the 'Royal' title is bestowed on selected army corps and
regiments who have been accorded the honour by His Majesty the
Yang di-Pertuan
Agong, who is the

The
Royal Malay Regiment's (Malay:
Rejimen Askar Melayu DiRaja)
crest was designed with a pair of tigers, supporting an
Oriental Crown. Within the circle of the crest are a kris and a scabbard
with the Regimental motto "Ta'at Setia" written in Jawi, meaning "Loyal
and True". Major G. McI. S. Bruce and Captain K. G. Exham, the
founding officers of this Regiment, designed the crest.
The
history of the RMR began 63 years ago with the establishment on 1 March 1933.
As its name suggests, it only recruits ethnic
Malays
to its ranks. The formation of a regiment staffed by the Malays was
the desire of the Sultans, Rulers and the Malays for the sovereignty of
the country.
The Royal Malay Regiment is the largest infantry regiment.
is one of two
infantry
regiments
in the
Malaysian Army.
The regiment is the premier unit in the Malaysian Army. At its height, 27
battalions of the Malay Regiment were formed. The 1st Battalion Royal
Malay Regiment is the ceremonial battalion for the
King
and is usually accompanied by the Central Band of the Malay Regiment. At
present, two battalions of the Malay Regiment are parachute trained and
forms a component of the Malaysian Army Rapid Deployment Force. Another
battalion has converted into a
mechanized infantry
battalion. The remaining battalions are roled as standard light infantry
battalions. |

MAL. KRALJEVSKOG ZRAKOPLOVSTVA |
|
PASKAU (Pasukan Khas Udara). U prošlosti joj je
naziv bio HANDAU (English:Air Force Defense, Pertahanan
Udara).
komandosi kopnene vojske. Danas, ova jedinica, ima tri "grane": Taktički
jurišni odred (Skuadron Sayap Tempur), Borbeni
zračni spasilački tim (Skuadron Penyelamat Tempur Udara)
i Zaštitni tim (Skuadron Kawalan Medan). Jedinica
popularni svojim "uslugama" civilima (prijevoz bolesnika, akcije
traženja nestalih i sl.) |

The
Royal Malaysian Air Force
have
a special operations force with
abilities to secure the RMAF strategic airbases,
known as Air Force Special Operations (Pasukan Khas Udara, PASKAU). Old
name of this unit was HANDAU (English:Air Force Defense, Pertahanan Udara).
The "special forces"
was
probably due to the unit's airborne capability. This unit was established
after the attacks to RMAF in Sungai Besi by agents of
Malayan Communist
Party. The GGK army commando also joint
this unit. Nowadays, PASKAU have the three branches including Tactical
Assault Squadron (Skuadron Sayap Tempur – SST, CT force), Combat Air
Rescue Team (Skuadron Penyelamat Tempur Udara – SPTU, CSAR units) and
Force Protection Teams (Skuadron Kawalan Medan – SKM, Base-protections
team). The unit conducted with special training and rescue missions,
especially rescue of the downed pilots behind the enemy, but they are more
popular with life-saving services to the civilians (courtesy flights
etc.). Regimen TUDM may also search and eliminate enemy troops who execute
sabotage against RMAF air bases. |
