ADJUTANT CORPS  AĐUTANTSKI KORPUS   Heyl Shalishut

     Glavni zadaci ađutanata su pomoć komandnom osoblju u radu sa vojnicima i u rješavanju individualnih problema vojnika. Svaka jedinica izraelske vojske (i rezervne) ima ađutanta ili njegovog pomoćnika koji je zadužen za "ljudske resurse". Potreba za ovom vrstom kadra se ukazala za vrijeme Yom Kippurskog rata, kada je način pozivanja izazvao velike probleme Direkciji za ljudske resurse. Odluku o stvaranju ovog korpusa je donio tadašnji šef generalštaba, Mordechai Gur u suradnji sa višim oficirima iz Direkcije za ljudske resurse.

     The corps's designation is to assist IDF commanders in dealing with manpower, as well as soldiers' individual problems. It employs an adjutant officer (as well as assistants) in almost every unit, as well as a liaison officer in reserve units, who is responsible for the manpower aspect of the unit, as well as attending to the reservists' individual needs. The corps was created in May 22, 1977 as one of three corps established as a conclusion to drawing lesson from the IDF's shortcomings in the Yom Kippur War. During the war, the hasty manner in which reserve troops were called to service posed special problems for the Human Resources Directorate, ones which the corps is designed to address. The idea to create an adjutant corps was raised before the Yom Kippur War, but was not implemented. After the war, the necessity of the corps was understood and the Chief of Staff of the time, Mordechai Gur, in a meeting with senior officers from the Manpower Directorate (now Human Resources Directorate), decided on its creation.

ARTILLERY  ARTILJERIJA/TOPNIŠTVO  Heyl Hototchanim

      Izraelski artiljerijski korpus je dio izraelskih obrambenih snaga zadužen za operacije srednje i dalekometne artiljerije. Korpus je poznat kao "vatreni stup" i vrlo je mobilan. U okviru bitke, zadaća je korpusa koncentrirana vatra na neprijateljske zemaljske položaje. Vatrena moć korpusa je strahovita i poznat je kao jedan od tehnološki najrazvijenijih u svijetu. Svoju su zadaću definirali kao "paralizirati i uništiti neprijatelja nadmoćnom vatrenom moći".

      The Israeli Artillery Corps is the Israel Defense Forces corps responsible for operating the medium and long-range artillery network. The corps is known as the "Pillar of Fire" which moves ahead of the camp. In the framework of the integrated battle, the role of the Artillery Corps is to concentrate the firepower on land. The corps maintains an extraordinary firepower and is known as one of the most technologically advanced field corps. Its designation is defined as "paralyzing and destroying enemy forces by exerting firepower in land battles."

ENGINEERING CORPS   INŽINJERIJSKI KORPUS   Heyl Handasa

    Korpus borbene inžinjerije se prepoznaje po beretkama srebrene boje i oznakom na kojoj se nalaze mač, obrambena kula i u pozadini stiliziran prikaz eksplozije. Moto korpusa je "Rishonim Tamid" to jest "Uvijek prvi", dok je neslužbeno geslo "Težak zadatak - učinićemo to danas; nešto nemoguće - to ćemo izvršiti sutra". Glavni zadaci korpusa su omogućavanje moblinosti trupa (izgradnja i raskrčivanje cesta), izrada obrambenih linija, izrada zapreka, izgradnja i demoliranje pod vatrom, sabotaže, miniranja i deminiranja, ABHO zaštita i ostale specijalne misije. Uz to što postoji korpus, i svaka pješadijska brigada ima svoju inžinjerijsku četu (minere i druge). Korpus često pridodaje svoje jedinice drugima, naročito oklopnim i pješadijskim brigadama, da bi im pomogli u savladavnju prepreka ili čišćenju i postavljanju minskih polja.

     The Combat Engineering Corps beret's color is silver and their symbol features a sword on a defensive tower with a blast halo on the background. The Combat Engineering Corps mottos are "Always First" (ראשונים תמיד Rishonim Tamid) and the unofficial "The hard - we shall do today, the impossible - we shall do tomorrow". Their roles include mobility assurance, road breaching, defense and fortifications, counter-mobility of enemy forces, construction and destruction under fire, sabotage, explosives, counter-NBC and special engineering missions. In addition to Combat Engineering Corps sappers, each infantry brigade has an engineering company trained with basic engineering and EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) skills. Combat Engineering Corps sappers are often attached to other units (such as armored or infantry brigades) in order to help them breach through obstacles and handle explosive threats.

GADNA  OMLADINSKE NASTAVNE JEDINICE  Heyl Klali

      Stari znak za kape vojnika-instruktora u predvojničkoj nastavi za školsku mladež GADNA ("Gdudei Noar" - battalions of youth - omladinski bataljoni. U traci je napisano "Heyl Klali" Postoji nekoliko verzija oznaka sa istim natpisom.

      Old cap badge of GADNA ("Gdudei Noar" - battalions of youth), This badge was used by soldiers-instructors of pre-military training for school youth. In band is written - "Heyl Klali" (there are some different badges with the same caption on the band - "Heyl Klali").

GENERAL SERVICES  OPĆE SLUŽBE

      Korpus općih službi objedinjuje sve pomoćne službe u Izraelskim obrambenim snagama, profesionalne vojnike i oficire. Korpusom rukovodi šef kadrovskog odjela. Od 2006. komadira brigadni-general Yehudit Grisaro, koja je ujedno i savjetnik šefa generalštaba za ženska pitanja. Simbol službe su dva ukrštena mača i smokvin list.

      The Israeli General Corps is the Israel Defense Forces authority which amalgamates all professional staff soldiers and officers. It is headed by the head of personal department. As of 2006, it is led by Brigadier-General Yehudit Grisaro who is also the Womens' Affairs advisor to the Chief of Staff. Two crossed swords and a fig leaf are general services staff insignias.

      Izraelski Glavni štab (glavni stožer) na hebrejskom המטה הכללי של צה"ל , skraćeno  Matkal je vrhovna komanda Izraelskih obrambenih snaga.

      The Israeli General Staff (Hebrew: המטה הכללי של צה"ל), abbreviated Matkal (מטכ"ל), is the supreme command of the Israel Defense Forces.

GENERAL STAFF RECONN. UNIT    IZVIĐAČKA JEDINICA GŠ  Sayeret Matkal

      Izviđačka jedinica Glavnog štaba je elitna specijalna jedinica IDF-a. Glavne uloge su joj protuteroristička borba,izviđanje u dubini neprijateljeske teritorije i sakupljanje podataka. (prva namjena ove jedinice je sakupljanje podataka iza neprijateljskih linija). Učestvuju i u oslobađanjima talaca i izvan Izraela. Najpoznatija im je akcija oslobađanje više od 100 putnika iz Air France-ova aviona, talaca PLO terorista, na aerodromu Entebbe, uz samo jednu žrtvu na svojoj strani, poginuo je komandant jedinice Yonatan Netanyahu. Nadimak ove izviđačke jedinice je jednostavno "Jedinica", a moto im je isti kao i SAS-u "Tko se usuđuje pobjeđuje"

     Sayeret Matkal (Hebrew: סיירת מטכ"ל, translation: General Staff Reconnaissance Unit) is an elite special forces unit of the Israeli Defence Force (IDF). Its main roles are counter-terrorism, deep reconnaissance and intelligence gathering, but the unit is first and foremost a field intelligence-gathering unit, used to obtain strategically important intelligence far behind enemy lines. Sayeret Matkal is also in charge of hostage rescue missions outside of Israel's borders. The unit is modeled on the British SAS, and organizationally reports to Aman. Its IDF nickname is simply "The Unit". The unit's motto is "Who Dares Wins" (same as the SAS motto). The unit is best known for Operation Thunderbolt, more commonly but mistakenly known as Operation Entebbe, in which it rescued more than 100 Air France airline passengers hijacked and flown to Uganda by PLO terrorists, losing only the unit commander, Yonatan Netanyahu, to enemy gunfire.

FIELD  INTELIGENCE  CORPS  TERENSKI OBAVJEŠTAJNI KORPUS  Heyl Modiin Sade

      Izraelski terenski izviđački korpus je najmlađi korpus Izraelskih obrambenih snaga, osnovan travnja 2000. godine. sa zadaćom prikupljanja (borbenih) informacija. Zadužen je za obavještajne jedinice od nivoa bataljona na više u cjelokupnim snagama. Budući da potrebe za obavještajnim podacima stalno rastu, raste i broj pripadnika korpusa. Moto im je "Hatzofeh Shelifnei Hamhaneh" izviđač ispred svih. Pripadnici ovih jedinica nose zelene berete, a zastava im je dijagonalno podjeljena u dva polja: žuto i bijelo.

     The Israeli Field Intelligence Corps is the newest of the IDF GOC Army Headquarters’ five corps, created in April 2000, and is tasked with collecting combat intelligence. It is responsible for intelligence units from the battalion level and up to the entire force. Due to the need for collecting combat intelligence and in maintaining observation networks, it is in the midst of expansion. The corps consists of the following units: The Shahaf Battalion (Northern Command); The Nitzan Battalion (Central Command); The Nesher Battalion (Southern Command); The Field Intelligence School, also known as the Centre for Reconnaissance and Intelligence, including the Corps Command. Motto "Hatzofeh Shelifnei Hamhaneh" ("The Scout in front of the Camp"). Corps have green Berets and white & yellow flag.

INTELIGENCE  CORPS  OBAVJEŠTAJNI KORPUS  Heyl Modiin

       Izraelski obavještajni korpus potpada direktno pod komandu Vojno-obavještajne direkcije (Aman) i zadužen je za sakupljanje, analizu i slanje obavještajnih informacija Generalštabu i određenim političkim tijelima. Korpus ma i zadaću kontraobavještajnog rada. Korpus nastaje nakon objave rezultata Agrantove komisije, koja je analizirala uzroke slabih obavještajnih rezultata u Yom Kippurskom ratu. Od 12. 11. 1976.  postavljen je prvi šef obavještajne agencije brigadni general Dov Tamari.

      The Israeli Intelligence Corps is an Israel Defense Forces corps which falls under the jurisdiction of IDF Directorate of Military Intelligence (Aman) and is responsible for collecting, disseminating, and publishing intelligence information for the General Staff and the political branch. The corps also engages in counter-intelligence and information security work, and presents general assessments. The corps was established as a result of the Agranat Commission's recommendation on the intelligence shortcomings in the Yom Kippur War. A Chief Intelligence Officer is detached from but subordinate to the head of Aman. On November 12, 1976, its first Chief Intelligence Officer, Brigadier-General Dov Tamari, was appointed. The corps includes Unit 8200, which is the IDF central collection unit, responsible for SIGINT collection and cryptographical analysis, including the Hatzav Unit, responsible for collecting OSINT intelligence.

INFANTRY CORPS  PJEŠADIJSKI KORPUS  Heyl Raglim

    The Israeli Infantry Corps is a corps in the IDF GOC Army Headquarters. It is a maneuvering corps which primarily relies on infantry troops. It includes several regular and reserve service units and brigades which are operatively commanded by the IDF’s regional commands:

LOGISTICS CORPS  LOGISTIČKI KORPUS  Heyl HaTahzuka 

      Logistički korpus izraelskih obrambenih snaga (IOS) je sastavni dio Centra tehnološke, logističke i medicinske komande koja upravlja logisitičkim aktivnostima unutar cijelih obrambenih snaga, što uključuje transport opreme, dostavu goriva, transport i graditeljstvo. Sadašnja baza za obuku, Bahad 6, locirana u Tzifrinu će biti premještena u "Grad za obuku" koji se gradi u Negevu, i čiji se završetak gradnje očekuje u 2009. Od 2005. šef logistike je brigadni general Itzik Ben-Tov.

      The Israeli Logistics Corps is a support corps in the IDF Central Technological, Logistics, and Medical Directorate, which centralizes the logistical activity in the IDF, including the transporting of supplies, shipments of fuel, construction, and transport. Its training base, Bahad 6, is located in Tzrifin and is intended to be moved to the Training Base City in the Negev, whose construction is expected to be complete by 2009. As of July 2005, the Chief Logistics Officer is Brigadier-General Itzik Ben-Tov.

MEDICAL CORPS MEDICINSKI KORPUS  Heyl Refuah

      The Israeli Medical Corps is an Israel Defense Forces corps responsible for providing healthcare services and medical treatment and instruction to all levels of the IDF. During wars or emergencies, it also assumes authority over the civilian healthcare system in Israel. The corps attends to the planning, organization, and supervision over the preparedness of the healthcare system to face crises.

SIGNAL CORPS   KORPUS VEZE   Heyl Hakesher

      The Israeli C4I Corps is a corps in the IDF GOC Army Headquarters responsible for military-related communication. It was founded in 1948. on the basis of the Haganah’s Communication Service. The corps is tasked with maintaining the IDF’s radar, radio and wireless radio, and satellite communications; electronic combat systems, information security. In the last few years, it has developed and assigned with special budgetary allowances.

HOMEFRONT COMMAND   DOMOVINSKI FRONT

      Izraelski Domovinski front (פיקוד העורף‎, Pikud Ha'Oref) je regionalna komanda izraelskih obrambenih snaga, kreirana 1972. godine, nakon Golfskog rata, koji je bio prvi rat nakon onog Izraelsko-Arapskog 1948.  godine u kojem je bila ugrožena i sigurnost civilne populacije. Do uspostave ove komande odgovornost za sigurnost je bila na Civilnoj obrani, koja se kasnije ujedinila sa Domovinskim frontom. Glavne su zadaće Domovinskog fronta potrage i spašavanja, kako u Izraelu tako i u svijetu. Pomažu u spašavanju i raščišćavanju nakon nesreća, poplava, potresa, terorističkih aktova i slično.

      The israeli Home Front Command (פיקוד העורף‎, Pikud Ha'Oref) is an IDF regional command, created in February 1992 following the Gulf War, which was the first war since the 1948 Arab-israeli War in which centres of civilian population faced significant threat. Until the establishment of the Command, responsibility for the Home Front fell under the Civilian Defense’s Chief Officer Corps Command and under Regional Defense. During that time, the three regional commands had their own home front commands. After the first Persian Gulf War, these organizations were unified and the Home Front Command was created. The Home Front Command operates search and rescue missions in Israel and around the world, aiding in rescue and recovery from incidents such as terror attacks, floods, conflagrations, etc.
