Danska odbrana (danski: Forsvaret, ferski: Danska verjan, grenlandski: Illersuisut) su ujedinjene oružane snage Kraljevine Danske zadužene za odbranu Danske i njenih konstitutivnih, samoupravnih naroda Grenlanda i Farskih otoka. Odbrana također promovira šire interese Danske, podržava međunarodne mirovne napore i pruža humanitarnu pomoć.

      Danas se Danska odbrana sastoji od: Kraljevske danske kopnene vojske (Hæren HRN) glavne danske kopnene ratne grane, Kraljevske danske mornarice (Søværnet SVN) mornarica plavih voda s flotom od 20 brodova i Kraljevske danske avijacije (Flyvevåbnet FLV) avio snage s operativnom flotom koja se sastoji od zrakoplova s ​​fiksnim krilima i rotacijskih zrakoplova. U sistem Odbrane pripada i Domobranstvo (Hjemmeværnet HJV). Prema danskom Zakonu o odbrani, ministar odbrane služi kao zapovjednik danske odbrane (preko načelnika odbrane i Odbrambene komande) i Danskog domobranstva  (preko Komande domobranstva). De facto danski kabinet je zapovjedno tijelo odbrane, iako ne može, bez pristanka Parlamenta, mobilizirati oružane snage, u svrhe koje nisu striktno orijentirane na odbranu.

      Danish Defense (Danish: Forsvaret, Faroese: Danska verjan, Greenlandic: Illersuisut) is the unified armed forces of the Kingdom of Denmark charged with the defense of Denmark and its constituent, self-governing nations Greenland and the Faroe Islands. The Defense also promotes Denmark's wider interests, support international peacekeeping efforts and provide humanitarian aid.

      Today, Danish Defense consists of: the Royal Danish Army, Denmark's principal land warfare branch; the Royal Danish Navy, a blue-water navy with a fleet of 20 commissioned ships; and the Royal Danish Air Force, an air force with an operational fleet consisting of both fixed-wing and rotary aircraft. The Defense also includes the Home Guard. Under the Danish Defense Law the Minister of Defense serves as the commander of Danish Defense (through the Chief of Defense and the Defense Command) and the Danish Home Guard (through the Home Guard Command). De facto the Danish Cabinet is the commanding authority of the Defense, though it cannot mobilize the armed forces, for purposes that are not strictly defense oriented, without the consent of parliament.
