Budapesti Rendor-főkapitányság

      Zadaci Budimpeštanske policije su osiguranje sigurnosti za nekoliko miliona ljudi koji žive, rade ili samo putuju kroz Budimpeštu te da preveniraju ili eliminiraju kriminalne radnje u glavnom gradu. Primarni cilj ove policijske organizacije, osnovane 1881. godine kao "Budimpeštanska kraljevska mađarska državna policija" je da udovolji kako zahtjevima građana tako i onim profesionalnim. Preko 7500 policajaca je raspoređeno u dvadeset i dva distrikta te jednu stanicu policije na vodi. U Budimpešti postoji jedinstveni OKC (operativno-komunikacijski centar), otvoren 01. 06. 2009. godine.

      The task of the Budapest Police Headquarters is to ensure the safety of several millions living or working in, or travelling to or through Budapest, and to prevent and eliminate crimes in the capital. The primary objective of the organization established in 1881 as “Budapest Royal Hungarian State Police” is to meet both the public safety requirements of the citizens and the requirements of the profession. 7.500 police officers of the twenty-two district police stations and one water police station seek to ensure safety to the inhabitants of the capital and to guests visiting the city. The single operations control system (in operation since 1 June 2009) is the first and most important element of a public safety programme, fundamental principles of which are swiftness and effectiveness.
