BORNHOLMS VAERN MARINES MARINCI IZ BORHOLMSA |
| |
|
U
Osam godina kasnije prerasta u
regimentu marinaca.
Marinci i danas
paradama i u inspekcijama koriste mornaričke pištaljke. U znak

At the time when the Royal Danish Navy was counted among the largest in
the world, a company of Marines was founded in 1672. In 1680 this company
was increased to a Marine regiment. It was an integrated part of the navy
until 1692, when it was transferred to the Danish Army, though still to be
shipborne. Today the training is focused upon marksmanship and ranger-like
exercises; the regiment is one of the best shooting units of the Danish
Army. The Marines still nurse their naval traditions, they wear navyblue
neckties, the strike bells, they report in a naval manner, and at parades
and inspections they pipe the gangway. Close relations with the navy are
continuously maintained; this has manifested itself in a highly
appreciated present, an old naval anchor, given to the Marines by the
Royal Danish Navy. |

MATERIAL COMMAND
MATERIJALNA KOMANDA KOPNENE VOJSKE
|
| |
|
Materijalna
institucija Kraljevske danske kopnene vojske u svim materijalnim
pitanjima. To uključuje nabavu, održavanje i proizvodnju.
povijest mogao pratiti sve do 1602. godine.

|
Army Materiel Command (Hærens Materielkommando), short "HMAK", was the
Royal Danish Army's institution in all matters of material. That
included supply, maintenance and production. Anything from tanks to the
sunglasses of troops or which kind of chocolate is in the field rations.
It was a Level. II command authority, directly under the Defense Command.
Before the merger with the air force and navy materiel commands into the
new unified Defense Materiel Service, FMT. |
|
HMAK was until its end, the oldest institution of the military of
Denmark and could trace its history back to 1602. It was run like a
modern company, with depots and workshops located all over the country.
It employed roughly 1100 people, with 700 of them located in Hjørring.
The central authority was located in Hjørring, it has now been taken
over by the Defense Materiel Command, as its headquarters. |
