Vojska Crne Gore je potpuno profesionalna i broji oko 2500 vojnih osoba
(vojnika, dočasnika i časnika). Služenje vojnoga roka je ukinuto.
Rezervni sastav je relativno velik, a u slučaju potrebe, Vojska može
mobilizirati do 100 000 rezervista. Oružane snage se sastoje od: Počasne garde,
Brigade Kopnene Vojske, Čete Vojne Policije, Centra za obuku, Vazduhoplovne
baze te Mornarice Crne Gore. Prema prvoj organizaciji nakon
osnivanja 2006, Vojska Crne Gore se sastojala iz Počasnog Bataljona, Čete
VP, Lake pješadijske brigade, Specijalne brigade, Baze za trening i
podršku, Vazduhoplovne i Monaričke baze. Početkom 2009. došlo je do
transformacije i smanjivanja, kako bi se postigla bolja efektivnost i
manji troškovi. Laka Pješadijska, Specijalna brigada i Logistička baza
ujedinjene su u Brigadu Kopnene Vojske, formiran je Centar za obuku, te su
Počasni Vod i Mornarička Baza preimenovane u Počasnu Gardu i Mornaricu
Crne Gore. Zrakoplovna baza smještena je na aerodromu Golubovci pokraj
Podgorice. Mornarička baza smještena je u Baru. |
The Military of Montenegro (Montenegrin: Vojska
Crne Gore) consists of an Army, Navy and Air Force. Conscript was
abolished in 2006; the military is now a fully professional standing
army. The military currently maintains a force of 2,094 active duty
members. The bulk of its equipment and forces were inherited from the
armed forces of the State Union of serbia and Montenegro; as Montenegro
contained the entire coastline of the former union, it retained
practically the entire naval force. Montenegro is a member of NATO's
Partnership for Peace program and is an official candidate for full
membership in the alliance. Montenegro applied for a Membership Action
Plan on 5 November 2008, which was granted in December 2009. Montenegro
is also a member of Adriatic Charter. |
