Raspon između suprotnih krakova zvijezde petokrake je 25 milimetara. Na kapi vojničkoj zimskoj zvijezda petokraka može biti izvezena crvenim koncem i iste je veličine kao zvijezda petokraka metalna iz stava 1. ove tačke. Zvijezda petokraka za kapu i šapku vojnika gardijskih i proleterskih jedinica je ista kao zvijezda petokraka iz stava 1. ove tačke, ali sa srpom i čekićem u sredini.

Zvijezda petokraka je oivičena metalnom ivicom zlatnožute boje. Amblem je metalan, prešan sa imitacijom veza ili vezen. Širina amblema je 63 milimetra, a visina 45 milimetara.
